Setting up your SCALERAIL
SCALERAIL is incredibly easy to set up, just follow the simple steps below and you'll be practising with SCALERAIL in no time at all!

Fits all types of piano!
SCALERAIL has been specifically designed to fit all makes and types of piano.
Step One
Your pack contains the following: 1 Carry Case, 1 Owner's Manual, 1 Allen Key, 2 Rails with Legs and 2 Arm Rests. Firstly, remove all the contents from the bag and place in a cleared area in front of your piano.
Step Two
Next, remove all the contents from the bag and place in a cleared area in front of your piano. Then slide one arm rest onto each half of the SCALERAIL, making sure that the height-adjustment screws are at the back of the SCALERAIL. Now, position the arm rests at the far ends of the rail where they will be held in place by the small lugs in the trough of the rail. You'll feel a slight click as they fall in to place.
Step Three
Now connect the two halves of the SCALERAIL together by sliding one into the other. There should be no gap between the two halves. Then fold down the legs one at a time. To release the legs from the closed position you need to press the small button on the hinge as shown in the diagram below. Open the legs up fully until they click into place.
Step Four
Next, position the SCALERAIL in-front of your piano. Using the two distance adjusters, set the distance of the SCALERAIL from your keyboard. Make sure that they are both set at the same distance from the keyboard, so that the SCALERAIL is parallel to the keyboard.
Step Five
Adjust the leg length of the SCALERAIL using the height adjustable feet; located at the bottom of each leg, until the SCALERAIL sits level with the keyboard. Now slide the two arm rests into the centre of the SCALERAIL. They can now be raised or lowered by turning them clockwise to raise or anti-clockwise to lower so that the wrists and forearm will be level when sitting at the piano.
Congratulations, your SCALERAIL is now ready to use!
